Before I loose you all to everyday life or clutter this blog with mine as I save and plan our next walk. I would like some ideas about what to do next. Leave your thoughts as a comment.
Your mom told me about your project and your blog. I'm very impressed, and will follow your exploits. Carrying the weight of The World, Atlas-like, is a serious responsibility, and I wish you the very best.
Bill , I know you must have made a.mistake in talking to my sister and mistaking her as mom. She always has been the mother rather than the sister. Thankyou for the kind comment and good to hear of you after so many years.
Head for Florida post Christmas, down to Key West. And if you can make it, take a shot at heading up the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego all the way to Seattle Tacoma in the spring. You could maybe chase the warmer weather as you head from south to North. And have you considered contacting the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation for some support? They do a lot of philanthropy and have done a lot of work on special events. They might be able to do a lot for you as far as promotion, PR, all that kind of thing.
Hope you're doing well, Erik. And sorry I couldn't do more when you were over our way.

Has the World seen the Appalachian Trail? Or historic Route 66? Bet the World would love to!
What about walking from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean?
It seems that if you do this in the southern states this winter, you'll have good weather?
Walk from one end of South Padre Island, Texas to the other.
Go northeast, young man.
