by the sea break

We've been on the road a few hours, it's now Five thirty and the the sky has it's first hints of blossoming. The moon has done it's part this morning illuminating the clouds like a dim night-light making it easier to roll of into the grass or brush when the early trucks and cars pass. At night I can hear and see them coming sooner. Sometimes I can see them from miles away. I've beem told we are eighteen miles to the next town. Not in a big hurry, Nice (the dog) chose a pull off by the ocean to sut down. he's had his breakfast and is taking a nap. I was sore and wanted to stay snug in bed this morning but after we got going. I roused from a day-dream while watching the ocean in the moon glow and was glad to be moving.
Sometimes I just need to push past the aches, pains and excuses...

Hey man, I saw you and your dog while driving south on Highway 101 from Crescent City to Eureka. Keep up the good work!

Hi! I saw you as well while Driving north on 101 on a road trip. I looked you up, and found out what you're up to and just wanted to say that my mom died at age 57 unexpectedly and was also diabetic. Thanks for bringing awareness to this all too common disease, and safe travels.

We just passed you! We were driving south on the 101 by mckinleyville (north of arcata). We are driving south, returning home to Los Angeles from our vacation at Jedediah smith camp ground in crescent city. I just googled you. I think it's wonderful what you are doing. Keep on trucking. :)

We saw you yesterday near Orick, CA. Read about you in the Curry County Reporter in Gold Beach, OR. Great article and more importantly, a great cause.
