our cousin that lives in Dallas posted this on this FB pg " I've seen this guy and his dog out in East Texas for a couple of weeks now. He has walked about 150 miles since I first saw him. Any ideas on what his cause is ?" So I had to find out what it was about, keep up the awesome work! ~wanda Katy TX
As I was traveling down Highway 59 towards Tyler, Texas on March 30, 2012, to my amazement, I saw you walking. "Am I seeing this right?" I asked my sister and mother. "Is that a man pushing a GIANT earth?" It finally clicked that you were the one I had heard about on the news previously.
You are a very courageous man and I love what you are doing! My 82 year old grandmother passed away in July of 2011. She lived with diabetes from the early age 50. So very proud of you!!

During the last six years he and his dog, named Nice, have walked in more than forty states and Washington D.C. to help the American Diabetes Association and encourage people to get healthy with exercise and diet to control and prevent diabetes. His is a simple message... "Love yourself. Go for a walk."
