After tossing and turning all night from the soreness I forgot how hard it is to juggle an eighty pound dog and an eighty pound canvas world while carrying a backpack. Good thing I was not trying to chew gum at the same time. May I have some cheese to go with this whine?
What a curious sight you were as I drove past you on a sharp curve of Route 27 in Damascus this morning on my way to work. I had to google "man with globe ball and dog" to quench my curiosity. Kudos to you and Nice for the awareness you are raising for diabetes, the resources you are committing. What an amazing adventure, to hike and touch foot in each state. Hike on, Hike on! Off to read more of your blog. Thank You!
I've had type 1 diabaetes since I was 6 years old. It's a struggle. I have good days and bad days. There is alot of misinformation out there about the disease. People tend to think insulin is a cure. Tell that to me when my blood is 400 and we're going to have a problem:)
Keep up the good work, buddy. I haven't seen you on the road yet (MD), but I'll be looking.

Bleu? But seriously... You're doing a great thing. Glad to have met you!
I saw you 3 times today!
Just saw you walking up Main Street Mount Airy with Nice. What an amazing story. Unfortunately, due to location and traffic I was not able to stop.
