Today

From the park where I spent the night in Weeping Water. I have walked south and am heading for Syracuse. At this point I am eleven miles out and the wind is against me, my back still aches. It will be dark by the time I get there.
Up against it, pushing on...

my niece said she saw a man pushing a globe & someone posted this site to her fb page. I decided to check it out and I must say I'm very impressed. I will keep you in prayer as you continue your journey. The thing that is ahead of you is strength, endurance, & faith. Keep them all together & may God bless each of your steps for those who richly need you to do this.!!

Saw you today heading out of Weeping Water. I wanted to stop because my 6 year old son was asking us why you were walking. We were running late so we couldn't stop, but my husband and I did our best to explain it to him! Good luck and try to stay warm!

I had to honor of seeing you walking down hywy 50 (nebraska) between Springfield and Louisville! At the time you was walking past a horse farm where every horse was starring at you, Nice and your globe...hehehe I thought you was playing ball with the horses at first! I tried to take a picture but we drove by so fast, I thought to myself, Ill take one on the way back! You was no where to be found! How ever I came home and told all my friends and family... I think they thought I was making things up! UNTIL 3 days later 2 friends called me out of the blue and said Guess who I seen!! It was you of course! My friend Kat seen you outside her house (nearing Syracuse) and decided to finally go get the pics I wanted! =0) THEN you stopped at Nutcracker where my friends mother was working as a cashier (she thought you was SEXY!! hehehe) And you autographed a paper to my best friend Robi! IM SO JEALOUS!! I want to wish you and Nice a safe travel and I want you to know you are doing a great job raising awareness!! I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mother due to this disease! Let me be one of the many people that would agree, that your mother is very proud of you! She will be the warmth in the sun you feel along your journey! She will be the wind on your back pushing you to your destination! WAY TO GO GLOBE GUY!!!!! I will now be a devoted fan and I will check in on your site to see just how far you have gotten! I wouldn't say your crazy... just devoted! =0) I'm glad to be blessed with seeing you along your journey!! Keep up the great work! Sincerely, Nichol Barton-Scholting
